People are most surprised to learn that I speak four languages. I speak German, Italian, Spanish and English. Unfortunately I do not speak Te Reo Maori. The languages were useful when I lived in or traveled to those countries. One of my most memorable experiences was climbing one of the world's most volatile volcanoes to see the sunrise.
